Danielle Raynor, the founder and guiding spirit behind Lavanila, channels her three key passions into everything Lavanila creates.

1. Danielle loves skincare, fragrance and beauty products. In her years working in the mainstream beauty industry, she tried them all, from products that cost almost a month’s rent to mass-produced drugstore brands. They all fascinated her.
2. Danielle believes (and has experienced) that even the most expensive products contain ingredients that are harsh, irritating and polluting. And it doesn’t have to be that way.
3. Danielle doesn’t want anything harsh or potentially harmful to come anywhere near her two young daughters. (What mother would?) She wants them to be surrounded by safe, natural products and to grow up in a cleaner, less toxic world.

Her mission grew out of these passions. Through her extensive work in the beauty world, Danielle knew that the ingredients in traditional fragrances and beauty products were primarily mixtures of synthetic chemicals that could absorb into the skin and irritate the senses. She sought out the best natural chemists and got to work on creating a luxury brand that was not only captivating and beautiful, but full of skin-loving ingredients and free of everything else.

And so Lavanila was born.
