Tips for Wearing Fragrance
Tip #1: Use all-natural fragrances free of synthetic ingredients and compounds. They are healthier for your skin and are less likely to cause irritation or allergy symptoms.
Tip #2: Avoid overpowering, chemical fragrances that could linger and invade the personal space of others. Subtle scents are the way to go.
Tip #3: Find a fragrance that compliments your skin and natural aroma. Just because a scent smells good on a friend, does not mean it will have the same effect on you.
Tip #4: Apply the fragrance right after a shower or bath. Your moist skin and open pores will soak up the fragrance and absorb it longer.
Tip #5: To experience the fragrance smell to its fullest, avoid using competitively scented soaps and body washes before application.
Tip #6: Apply the fragrance to your pulse points or warmer areas- fold in elbows, back of knees, wrists, cleavage, and neck.
Tip #7: Do not rub in the fragrance or rub your wrists together. It will weaken the scent from lasting.
Tip #8: Spray into the air and walk through the mist. This will LIGHTLY cover the rest of your body with the fragrance.
Tip #9: Dry skin tends to weaken the smell. If you have dryer skin characteristics, slightly more fragrance might be necessary.
