Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec), who are at least 13. An eligible minor should have a parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to participate. Employees of DALA BEAUTY, INC. (“Sponsor” ), its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates & advertising & promotion agencies (collectively, with Instagram, LLC, “Released Parties”) & members of their immediate family (spouse, parent, children, siblings & their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) & persons living in the same household, whether or not related, are not eligible. Void in Quebec and where prohibited. Subject to all applicable federal, provincial, state & local laws.

HOW TO ENTER: Between at or around 11:00 am Eastern Time (“ET”) on October 16, 2017 and 11:59 p.m. ET on October 22, 2017, to enter, follow @lavanilalabs on Instagram, the find the Instagram Story with the poll and provide your response to the poll. All entries must be received by October 22, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the entry process are void. Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries will be void. Entries become the sole property of Sponsor. If you do not have an Instagram account, establishing an account is free.  All Instagram terms apply. You must follow @lavanilalabs and your account must be set to “public” in order for your entry to be eligible. You can unfollow @lavanilalabs and return your account to “private” any time after the winner has been announced.

WINNER DETERMINATION: Two (2) potential winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about October 23, 2017 from among all eligible entries received.  Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winners will be notified via a comment on his/her response or direct message & he/she will have 24 hours from notification to respond to Sponsor. The failure to respond to such notification or a potential winner’s noncompliance with these Official Rules may result in disqualification & at Sponsor’s sole discretion, prize may be awarded to an alternate winner. If a winner is a legal resident of Canada, he/she will also be required to answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question administered via the telephone. Failure to answer the question correctly within the time period specified, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will result in disqualification and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner, time permitting.

PRIZES (2): Each winner will receive a “Detox Starter Kit,” awarded as one (1) Sport Luxe Deodorant + one (1) bottle of THUD. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): US$42.00.  Total ARV of all prizes: US$84.00. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied.  Winners may not substitute or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash. Sponsor reserves the right, at its discretion, to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value. Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes) as well as all other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Limit one (1) prize per person.

PUBLICITY GRANT: By participating, unless prohibited by law,  entrant (and, if an eligible minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) grants Sponsor and its successors, assigns and licensees, the right to use such entrant’s name, username, likeness (including, without limitation, profile photo), and/or biographical information in any and all media, in any manner, for any purpose, including without limitation, commercial, advertising and promotional purposes as well as in, on or in connection with the sweepstakes or other promotions, throughout the world, in perpetuity, without further permission from, or notification or compensation to, entrant, and entrant hereby releases the Released Parties  from any liability with respect thereto.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating, each entrant (and, if an eligible minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) agrees: (a) to abide by these Official Rules & decisions of Sponsor & judges, which shall be final & binding in all respects; and (b) to release, discharge  & hold harmless Released Parties from any & all injuries, liability, losses & damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’ s participation in the sweepstakes or the acceptance or use of a prize.  Released Parties are not responsible for (i) lost, late, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered or garbled entries, comments or messages; (ii) lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications; (iii) failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure; (iv) jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (v) other errors or difficulties of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise, relating to or in connection with the sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any sweepstakes-related materials; (vi) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes; or (vii) injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this sweepstakes.  Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the sweepstakes or any Sponsor website or social media account, who act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified & all associated entries will be void. Should any portion of the sweepstakes be, in Sponsor’ s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the sweepstakes & if terminated, at its discretion, select winners at random from all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair & appropriate by Sponsor.

DATA PROTECTION / PRIVACY POLICY: Information collected by Sponsor in connection with this contest may be used by Sponsor in accordance with its Privacy Policy posted on URL. 

WINNERS LIST: Winners’ names will be posted by @lavanilalabs on Instagram following the end of the sweepstakes.
